Appearance
A mysterious building whose only observable outside is a mid-1900s constructed wooden door with an ornate handle. It has appeared in numerous places throughout time and space, from ancient histories to far futures, as well as realities where scientific expansion has advanced or branched in unexpected ways or the concepts of magic and gods are very much real and tangible. There seems to be very little limit to the universe-hoping capabilities of "The Menagerie", other than a possible need to appear on a suitable flat surface to support the door; this is as of yet untested.

Author's note. A "menagerie" is a term for a collection of animals, thus not befitting of "The Menagerie's" seeming function of housing dangerous magical artefacts from innumerable realities. Nor its uncountable collection of grapefruit-sized glass-like orbs which seem to both serve as windows into different universes and a method of guiding The Menagerie to a desired destination. Considering the protectiveness of its current concierge in Materia of certain orbs it is also likely that they are the realities themselves.

Observed Abilities
While anchored to a universe, time seems to freeze. The same is true of when The Menagerie is hosting a guest, their world remains static without them (with one noted exception, may be context sensitive to the guest).

Within The Menagerie, the concierge Materia seems to have control over temporal aspects within, being able to rewind time to previous positions since the most recent guest's entry. Employees retain the information lost in this time reversal, able to use it in order to present the appearance of precognition or telepathy using trial and error.

Incident involving Kasumi has caused the duplication of certain orbs within the collection. Going to different points within a world's history and attempting to make changes caused orb titled "One Week" to split with each exertion of the god-blooded's unique abilities over the threads of "destiny", creating seven unique realities where The Menagerie visited and intervened.

Expanded space within, seemingly infinite. Rooms of note thus far include a lounge, a bath, the main lobby and the orb room. The orb room along seems to stretch into infinity.

While within The Menagerie basic needs are tended to. Sleep, eating and drinking are unnecessary, though optional. Overexertion can still lead to types of mental exhaustion and fatigue.
